As schools and universities prepare to reopen, administrators and facility managers are looking for practical solutions to protect the health, safety, and welfare of their students and staff from the spread of SARS-CoV-2 and other pathogens. The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) recently published guidelines meant to provide information and checklist to schools districts and universities on how the HVAC systems should be operating to help minimize the chance of reducing the spread of SARS-CoV-2 and how to check /verify that operation.
