Telluride Schools competitively selected Yearout Energy to implement a comprehensive Energy Savings Performance Contract (ESPC) across the entire District. Yearout Energy will identify and capture utility and operational savings within the District portfolio, secure additional grant funding, and other incentives in order to tackle the District’s five year capital improvement plan. In addition the District will realize improved Indoor Air Quality (IAQ), optimize facility operations, install the largest solar array in the Valley and increase resiliency and utility grid integrity for the Telluride Community.

Upgrading ~1,000 existing lighting fixtures to LED technology
Installing roughly 208 kW DC of solar PV panels
Installing new HVAC Equipment and Controls at the Courthouse and District Attorney’s Office
Installing wireless thermostats at selected facilities that will provide remote access
Remediating 30+ ft2 of building envelope air leaks
Upgrading domestic water fixtures to conserve water
Installing 16,000 ft2 of new roof at the Courthouse
Installing surge protection at the Detention Center
