NEW MEXICO DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) Santa Fe Campus is comprised of several facilities with a combined permanent building area of 208,000 ft2. NMDOT selected New Mexico-based Yearout Energy to develop and implement a guaranteed energy savings performance contract (GESPC) for all 12 buildings on their Santa Fe Headquarters.

FACILITY IMPROVEMENT MEASURES
- Installed nearly 2,350 new LED lighting fixtures. Reduction in Lighting System Power of nearly 60%
- Replaced aged existing HVAC equipment with a high-efficiency VRF system along with a new campus-wide building automation system (BAS)
- Replaced aged single-pane windows with new double-pane windows
- Remediated nearly 50 ft2 of existing air leakage area
- Installed 400 kW DC solar PV carport at the GO/Annex
- Upgraded existing water fixtures campus-wide
- Upgraded existing electrical systems in nearly all campus facilities
- Replaced damaged water line at GO/Annex
- Corrected utility billing error of $10,000 annually
