Yearout Energy was honored to be given the “Most Overall Savings” award by PNM at the 2020 Program Kick-Off and Trade Ally Awards on Thursday, January 30, 2020 and The Event Center at Sandia Golf Club.

The award is given to the company which has made the biggest impact on energy savings within the PNM service area in the State of New Mexico for the previous year. To earn the award, Yearout Energy worked with organizations across the state to save 3.27 GWh of energy in 2019, which had an environmental impact of preventing 1,773 metric tons of CO2 from entering the atmosphere, or the equivalent of powering 480 homes for the year.

While at the event, Yearout Energy representatives Danny Alkon and Tara Trafton learned about new and improved incentives for energy efficiency from PNM, the state’s electrical utility.

“We look forward to 2020 and hope to defend our title and save even more this year!” said Alkon.
